I’m someone that uses a calendar app every day, I’m so ‘bad’ about my calendar that I actually have a 2nd calendar app downloaded to my iPhone as a backup! even tho everything is saved to iCloud you can never be too careful. As such, I tend to trawl through the various new calendar apps on the AppStore regularly on the look out for my next favourite. I’ve even been known to download a paid app if I think the cost is justified! My current calendar app was starting to look and feel a bit stale so I was delighted when Irish Tech News were contacted by the developers of Wave Calendar App wondering if we’d be interested in trying out their new app with a view to writing a review.

Once downloaded from the AppStore here it just takes a few easy steps to get the app up and running. Firstly, you need to allow access to calendar, contacts and location. Once this is done you can start using the app straight away or if you wish to unlock “extra features” you can register with a Name, email address and password. On initial use I was very impressed with the clean look of the app, it just looks right on an iPhone. Although optimised for iPhone 6/Plus it really looks great on my lowly iPhone 5S.
