With the launch of the device supposedly only around the corner at the end of the month, the LG G3 has kindly showed up in some leaked images. Or at least we are lead to believe it’s the G3. The shots do look pretty realistic so this could well be the actual phone. As is custom now in the run up to a phone launch, these leaks will increase in frequency up to the point where there will be little new to learn when the phone is unveiled.
The images show a fairly large device, probably with a 5.5″ screen. On the back there is what looks like a dual flash with one situated either side of the camera. There is also what looks like the unlock button with volume rocker just under the camera, in a similar setup to what we saw on the G2.
It is quite possible that we are also looking at the device that the Nexus 6 will be based on. The phone in the images above is very similar to the Nexus 5, just slightly larger. We’ll have to wait until the 27th to find out the exact specs of the device but at present anything from a 1080p to QHD screen will be included, either a Snapdragon 801 or 805 processor with 2 or 3GB of RAM. Whatever the case, it will no doubt be an extremely powerful device.
