Dell has been ranked as the best company to work for in Ireland, according to data released by the world’s largest job site Indeed.

The global technology giant came top of the list for Ireland’s best employer, compiled from thousands of employee reviews on Indeed. The top 25 companies includes a number of Ireland’s leading technology and retail employers, as well as well-known Irish companies.

The top 10 is dominated by companies known for valuing and treating their employees well. In addition to Dell, tech employers Apple, Google and Intel feature prominently on the list and famously offer their employees competitive salaries, generous perks and good opportunities for career progression. Major retailers Argos, Marks and Spencer, Next and Penneys also fall within the top 10, providing employees with flexible working arrangements and good opportunities for training.

Based on employee reviews submitted to Indeed.Paul D’Arcy, Senior Vice President for Marketing at the global job site, Indeed, comments: “While salary is a major factor in determining workplace satisfaction, it’s only one of a number of criteria on which employees judge their employer.
