MailingBags.ie is a company which was set up by Robert English to supply you with everything you’d need for packaging times to ship. Based in Co. Longford, Robert set the company up when he noticed a gap in the market for these products.
We caught up with Robert to find out how this and his other companies are going.

They have built their business from scratch and over the last few years have gained a growing client list with an ever extending visual portfolio. They design mainly for print on projects that range from company branding and marketing material to children’s campaigns and character illustration. Their slogan is: “Making you look good, makes us look good”

Freq.ie’s App automatically gathers anonymous data about your mobile network’s performance, allowing it to be analysed for any issues. They can then work with operators to help improve network performance. They are now in trials with several mobile companies and they have recently launched an online coverage map where you can see real world network performance for all the providers in Ireland. Rather than just complain about the problem they are determined to help eliminate offline moments – one black spot at a time.

Based in Dublin, Boxever is a start-up focused on big data and predictive analytics, specifically for the travel industry. Its cloud-based platform is used by airlines and travel agencies to better understand the preferences and buying behaviour of their customers and prospects. They have received two rounds of funding, have several installed customers and have recently expanded into the US.
